Paper interlining is a nonwoven inner layer produced by pressing fibres together, and it is the most economical type of interlining. It is ideal for budget-friendly, cost-focused production. With its thin, flat, matte structure, it is available in a range of weights (25–65 gsm).
Important technical note: paper interlining is not recommended for shirt collars and cuffs — it causes problems after a few washes; woven shirt interlining is used for shirts instead.
